We describe the synthesis of variously substituted 8,9,10,11-tetraoxatricyclo[5.2.1.1]undecan-4-ones. Several of these stable ozonides exhibited activity (IC′s of 10–20 µg cm) against a chloroquine-resistant strain of the malaria parasite . ER
