While TB and malaria are currently the number one killers in India, inaction could make AIDS the leading cause of death. A decade after setting up the National AIDS Control Organisation, the nation is still debating the accuracy of HIV/AIDS statistics. Are current responses adequate to stem the spread of the disease?
