In Cambodia, 2.1% of the population aged over five years has a disability. People with disabilities experience higher levels of poverty and are often excluded from accessing education and health services. In Cambodia, nearly one-third of the population does not have access to basic water supply and basic sanitation, and 26% lack basic hygiene. Access to water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) for people with disabilities in Cambodia is difficult due to inaccessible infrastructure, limited affordability and distance to the water source and latrine.
