LONDON - A strong relationship between the amount of funding available for Britain's National Health Service and the survival and quality of life of the population has been reported in a study published in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine looking at mortality and the NHS. Professor Martin McKee of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine discusses the implications for health system planners in the UK and globally.
