LSHTM staff and research students are expected to make their work available open access wherever possible, and in accordance with the LSHTM Open Access Publishing Policy
Publications can be deposited to LSHTM Research Online by School staff through the Elements current research information system. Deposited items are checked before the records are made public, with any publisher-imposed embargo periods respected. Where items have been published in fully open access journals under a Creative Commons licence, the full-text will be uploaded by the Research Publications Team. Where items are not published open access, LSHTM authors are required to deposit the "accepted manuscript" to LSHTM Research Online (via Elements) within three months of acceptance for publication.
